Privacy

NEXUS is in early alpha. Here is exactly what we store.

Your account

Username, display name, a scrypt hash of your password (never the password itself), and your email only if you give it to us for password resets.

Your game data

Avatar appearance, inventory, Flux balance and history, achievements, friends, and play statistics. This is what makes your identity persistent.

Analytics

Anonymous product events (for example "an account was created" or "a shop item was viewed") tied to a salted one-way hash, not to your account. We don't store IP addresses or chat messages in analytics.

Chat

Chat is relayed live to players in your session and is not saved.

Waitlist

If you join the waitlist we store your email and the date, and use it only for NEXUS updates.

Removing your data

Contact the NEXUS team to have your account and data deleted.
